Configuring Safari for Mac

Print this page and follow the instructions below to configure your browser.

1. Under the View menu select Show Status Bar.
   
   
2. Under the Safari menu select Empty Cache... and click the Empty button in the warning box.
   
   
3. Under the Safari menu select Preferences...
    
   1. Click the General icon at the top.
      1. Click to check the box beside Open "safe" files after downloading.
         
         
   2. Click the Security icon at the top.
      1. In the Web Content: section, click to check the boxes beside Enable plug-ins, Enable Java, and Enable JavaScript.
      2. In the Accept cookies: section, click the radio button beside Only from sites I visit.
      3. Click the Show Cookies button.
      4. Click the Remove All button.
      5. Click the Remove All button in the warning box.
      6. Click the Done button.
         
         
   3. Click the X in the top left corner to close the Preferences window.
      
      
4. Quit the browser and Restart your computer.
