Apply for a TexShare Card.
The TexShare Card Program is a reciprocal borrowing program which allows registered borrowers from one institution in the State of Texas to check out items from another institution in the State of Texas. Most academic and public libraries in Texas participate in this program.
If you are a currently enrolled UTTC student and live in the state of Texas you may request a TexShare card.
To find out what libraries near you participate in the TexShare program, you can go to the TexShare participant's information pages.
Use the form below to request a TexShare card. The card will be valid for the current semester. Your TexShare request will be processed and your card mailed within five business days.
By completing and submitting this application form, you are agreeing to abide by the following TexShare Card Program rules:
- The TexShare card entitles you only to privileges authorized by the lending library and is not transferable.
- You must present identification as required by the lending library.
- You must observe the regulations of the lending library.
- You must return any materials borrowed in person or by first class insured mail as prescribed by the lending library.
- You must pay charges assessed for late return, damage or loss of materials borrowed. If you fail to pay these charges to the lending library, the UT TeleCampus will be able to block registration or graduation privileges until the fees are paid.
- You must surrender the card to TexShare library staff if requested.
- A TexShare card will not be issued to any TeleCampus student with outstanding fines or fees.
- The TexShare Card is available to currently enrolled students only and will expire at the end of the current semester. You may request a new card in each semester you enroll in a TeleCampus course.
