Onsite Training
Faculty offering academic courses for the first time should attend Faculty Training in Austin (held Spring and Fall) nine to 12 months prior to the course launch.
Online Training
The award-winning UT TeleCampus Instructional Design Tutorial addresses specific issues instructors face when designing and delivering online education. The Tutorial is now available via Professional Development Online (PDO) under 'Browse Courses, UTTC 1'. Access is free to UT System faculty and staff. There is a nominal fee for non-UT System employees.

Teaching Online in Blackboard
To become familiar with Blackboard courseware, new faculty will complete three online courses. After registering for training, online access will be given for the following courses:
- Copyright: Just the Basics (Non-moderated)
- Managing Your Blackboard Course
- Developing Courses with the UT TeleCampus: an Instructional Design Tutorial
