Course Development
Working with component campus staff, the UTTC Course Development and Technology department facilitates the design and implementation of new and ongoing courses each semester.
- Instructional Design and Course Development Resources
Faculty are encouraged to take the free, self-paced award winning Instructional Design Tutorial created by the UT TeleCampus.
- Faculty Training
It is recommended that faculty attend training nine to 12 months prior to the first offering of their first UT TeleCampus course.
- Course Review Services
Every course that runs through the TeleCampus is reviewed every semester, and new courses are given extra attention.
The Course Development Process ensures high quality standards tailored for online learners. The process for each course that is added to our catalog includes the following four steps.
- Faculty completion of the UT System Office of General Counsel's online Copyright Basics course (access will be given before faculty training) and agreements
- Faculty completion of the Principles of Good Practice Self-Study
- Course content production and loading
- Full technical and editorial review
