Student Perspectives
Student and graduate quotesWhat is it like to learn online through the UT TeleCampus? Every semester, thousands of students choose UTTC as an option to expand their educational opportunities. Each student has a unique story about why they chose to learn online from University of Texas institutions, but you will notice common threads in their choice.

For many, traditional courses are not a workable option: they don't live close to a campus; they travel frequently with their full-time job; they just had a baby. The flexibility of the online programs, and the quality academic standards associated with The University of Texas System were key to their choice.

Several students and graduates from our programs graciously agreed to be interviewed about their experiences. They discuss how they balanced a busy work schedule and their personal lives in the pursuit of earning a degree from a University of Texas System institution.

The online learning environment can be intimidating. We hope that by reading a personal story and finding familiarity in the words, you will gain insight into the process. Thank you to all those who shared their time and stories with us.

Thinking about learning online but not sure what to expect? No problem, we’ll show you. We’ve built the UTTC Course Sampler to take you through real examples from our courses to give you a better understanding of what the experience will be like.
