The combined resources of six University of Texas System universities allow you access to online graduate courses designed to meet your academic, professional and lifestyle needs as a physical educator, a coach, or other professional interested in the science of people in motion. Students wanting to participate in the online Master's Degree in Kinesiology should apply for admission to one of the four UT System universities offering the master's degree, enroll and complete that institution's degree requirements.
All courses can be completed online. Each participating university will accept courses from the other institutions to satisfy the degree requirements.GetEducated.com ranked the Master's Degree in Kinesiology as a Best Buy. The list includes 94 institutions that offer online degrees for less than $16,000.
The U.S. Distance Learning Association presented its 2002 Excellence in Distance Learning Programming - Higher Education Award to the Master's Degree in Kinesiology online program.

COURSES
Link to a listing of the available courses. To find out when the courses will be offered, link to the course catalog, select the program and click search. Catalog search results will return the schedules for at least two semesters, but not all programs are scheduled that far in advance. The course rotation (subject to change) is projected for the next 2 years.

GETTING STARTEDThe Kinesiology Academic Affairs Committee has developed a Handbook of Operating Procedures for the Kinesiology Online program.
To participate in the Master's Degree in Kinesiology Online program, you must choose a home campus by applying to and being accepted by one of the four participating universities. Criteria, procedures and deadlines for admission vary slightly from one university to another, but are predominantly the same as the traditional residence programs. Consult the participating universities for specific details. Information on admissions, registration and course access procedures can be found in Enrollment Services.
