Course Title: Instructional Design and Assessment
Campus Course Code: HRD 5332
Campus: UT Tyler
Program:
Course Description
In this course, we will examine the process of developing an academic or training course using an Instructional Systems Development methodology. This design approach allows an instructor or trainer to prepare, teach, and manage a course with confidence that the student will achieve the desired instructional outcomes.
This is a hands-on course where you will design a course of instruction in an area of your interest using the Instructional Systems Design model. By the end of this course, you will have achieved the competencies needed to analyze, design, and develop a training course. While we will not be able to actually implement the course you develop, we will create the necessary structure to implement, validate, and evaluate your course.
