Course Description

This is a hands-on course where you will experiment with laboratory design and learn the requirements for managing an instructional environment. Emphasis will be placed on how good physical design facilitates good instruction. Many facets of the instructional environment will be covered: diverse student populations, equipment and supplies selection, materials control, budgeting, and required record keeping. Implementing safety design and practices will be emphasized. Instructor liability issues will be addressed.
