Course Description

Accounting provides the primary quantitative data for management decision making. This course is designed to enhance managers’ and future managers’ understanding of accounting measurement techniques, and to provide them with the tools necessary to use this data. Topics discussed include budgeting, activity based accounting, discounted cash flow techniques, productivity measurement and performance evaluation are discussed. Group case projects, problem solving and discussion are incorporated into the course content.
