Course Description
The student will be given the opportunity to demonstrate a knowledge of: (1) historical and policy issues and the basic approaches used in research; (2) when a problem is amenable to investigation by formal research methods, (3) specific theoretical research models and techniques for analyzing and developing both quantitative and qualitative forms of research and evaluation studies; (4) specific methods and procedures for reviewing and assessing the research literature, and (5) designing his/her own research or evaluation study.
