Course Description
This course will focus on issues faced by the healthcare professional including ethical and legal issues related to the practice of dental hygiene. Topics include, but are not limited to, ethics and professionalism, ethical principles and values, models for ethical decision making, ethics and cultural differences, and ethical dilemmas. Students will work independently and in teams to apply the material to real life situations utilizing case study format and personal life experiences.
