Course Title: Translation from Information Media

Course Description:
This course is targeted for students interested in the practice and theory of subtitling. Students will receive hands on experience in the fundamentals of this specific form of translation. Special emphasis will be placed on conducting effective text analyses and research, and students will carry out audiovisual translation projects as they learn to identify and understand the role of the members of the Translation Team and the professional environment of the audiovisual translator.
