Focuses on evidence-based course design with emphasis on formative and summative assessment strategies in the classroom and clinical settings.

Course Objectives

  1. Value different learning styles and ways of processing information in learning activities
  2. Develop a repertoire of evidence-based teaching/learning strategies for delivery in a variety of settings
  3. Acquire and apply new technology literacy skills
  4. Integrate teaching-learning theory and evidence related to best practices into instructional design
  5. Demonstrate FIDeLity (frequent, immediate, discriminating) in self and peer feedback
  6. Adopt a personallized development plan as a nursing educator
