Course Description

Focuses on the principles, processes and issues of evidence-based curricular design for nursing education.

Course Objectives

  1. Base evidence-based curriculum design and implementation decisions on theory, research, and practice
  2. Revise curriculum based on program outcomes, learner needs, societal and health care trends and best educational practices
  3. Design and implement program assessment as part of continuous quality improvement process
  4. Analyze and value the impact of individual course design and revision on total curriculum and makes decisions accordingly
  5. Demonstrate FIDeLity (frequent, immediate, discriminating) in self and peer feedback
