Health care policy creates a framework that impacts the delivery of health care services and the ability of the provider to engage in practice to address health care needs. Emphasis is on legal concepts and bioethical principles that shape practice, prevent liability, and assist in public policy development related to the delivery of nursing and health care in various settings.
