Course Title: Histology
Campus Course Code: BIOL 3330
Campus: UT El Paso
Program: Non-Program

Course Description

Survey of tissue structure at the light microscopic level, with emphasis on animal specimens and identification. Not a course in preparative technique. A histology course has been found to be especially helpful to pre-professional students interested in attending medical and dental school where histology is one of the core courses taken during the first year.

Objectives
  1. To understand the structure of human tissues and organs and relate structure to function.
  2. To gain a sound understanding of biological principles which will serve as a solid foundation for more advanced biology courses.
