Opportunities for consumers, providers of health care and global markets for future directions will also be identified. Assignments will address opposite sides of the issues which affect the direction and shifts in the healthcare trends. It is our hope that by the end of this course, the student will be able to critically examine the professional and public issues of health and healthcare, to develop critical and creative thinking skills to evaluate the many facets of an issue and utilize these skills to develop recommendations that address a more effective use of heatlh care resources and promote improved healthy behaviors within their local and state communities.
