Campus Course Code: HPRS 3324
Campus: UT Brownsville
Program: BAT - Health Services Technology

Course Description

In a health care professional’s education experience, the clinical component is probably the most important part of the student’s education. It is during the clinical practice phase that a student develops the skills and attitudes necessary to become a competent health care practitioner. Since most health care practitioners encounter students in the clinical setting, as part of their workload, this course is beneficial to all health care professionals. This course will provide an introduction to the characteristics of a good instructor, learning styles, developing objectives, teaching methods and evaluations in health sciences courses.
