Course Description
This course explores current research and theory on the writing process: how children develop as writers; the teacher's role; the learning environment; and motivation, assessment, and evaluation in writing. There will be six online tests as well as a requirement for regular class discussion through posting online, a professional book review, a small literature-related project, and drafting personal writing.
