Course Description
This course is for teachers interested in earning the ESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) Endorsement. It explores methods of teaching reading, writing, and study skills in content area subjects. Students will learn the differences between narrative and expository text and about the reading/writing process as applied to informational text. Classroom adaptations for culturally and linguistically diverse populations in the content areas will also be addressed.
