Course Description
An in-depth study of the judiciary in relation to the criminal justice system. Course looks at the state and federal court systems as well as the role of prosecutors, judges, and defense counsel. The entire court process is studied from charging until sentencing. Attention is given to the rights of the accused. Aspects of sentencing. The appeals process is also covered in-depth.
