An overview of ethnic, racial and gender issues focusing on victims, offenders, and professionals in the criminal justice system.
Objectives
- To explore issues specific to gender and criminal justice
- To explore issues specific to race and criminal justice
- To explore issues specific to ethnicity and criminal justice
- To explore the role of the media, politics, stereotypes in developing the identity of racial, gender and ethnic groups in criminal justice
- To explore the utility of using different paradigms when exploring the identity of racial, gender and ethnic groups in criminal justice
